that sets it apart from all others. Ameristar's Aegis II™ has two:
Aegis II™ Ornamental fencing was engineered
and designed to meet the expressed needs of Architects and developers. The need of a value
added ornamental fence of the highest quality at an affordable
price. Both goals of quality and affordability were achieved through state-of-the-art
technology. This technology provided manufacturing automation through our in-house tube
mill and was combined with the unique "Permacoat®" (double
layer) powder coating system resulting in the Aegis II™ fence system.
Automation Produced Affordability
Ameristar’s new state of the art manufacturing facility includes an in-house
tube mill which produces the patented "Forerunner™ rail", pickets and posts
of this ornamental security fence. High speed production of the G-90 galvanized fence
components resulted in lower manufacturing costs and prompt delivery.
AEGIS II - TECHNICAL DATA
Ameristar Aegis II Industrial Ornamental Fence System is by far the strongest security
ornamental fence available today.
WIND LOADING
Ameristar has developed typical wind load capacities for Aegis II. The miles per hour
(MPH) were calculated using ANSI/ASCE 7-88, "American Society of Civil Engineers
Minimum Design Loads for Building and other Structures." Exposure Category B (Urban
and suburban areas with closely spaced obstructions having the size of single-family
dwelling or larger). For wind loading applicable to a specific specification, consult the
appropriate Building Code.
STRENGTH
Both vertical and horizontal design loads are shown in comparison to competitive
products. Ameristar’s Forerunner™ Rail (Patent Pending) Double-walled
"U" Channel offers superior strength from the specially formed high strength
architectural shape.
