Heritage Vinyl Products manufactures vinyl fence and deck products with quality raw materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes to provide you with years of maintenance-free service.

Heritage Vinyl Products proudly warrants that their vinyl fence (Heritage Fence) and deck (Teck Deck) products are free from defects in material and manufacturing workmanship. In addition, all hardware components provided by Heritage Vinyl Products are covered under the terms of this WARRANTY.

When installed according to Heritage instructions and under normal and proper use, such products will uniformly maintain their color and will not peel, rot, pit, blister, warp, rust, flake, crack, corrode or be consumed by insects.

If any defect or degradation as described above is discovered, Heritage Vinyl Products, at its option, will repair or replace the defective material (providing all material and labor reasonably necessary to remedy the covered defect) except where damage is caused by improper installation or conditions as detailed in Section C.

Any costs and expenses beyond Heritage Vinyl Products' liability as described in this WARRANTY agreement shall be the owner's responsibility.

B. Registration and Transfer of Warranty

The attached WARRANTY REGISTRATION card must be completed, signed by the original purchaser and returned to Heritage Vinyl Products within 30 days after installation of their HERITAGE FENCE or TECK DECK in order for the purchaser to be eligible for coverage and transferability under this WARRANTY agreement.

In the event that the REGISTRATION card is not mailed to Heritage Vinyl Products within the 30-day period, liability of Heritage Vinyl Products to the original purchaser is limited to providing replacement material.

This warranty is transferable by the original owner to the subsequent owner(s) of the property where the HERITAGE FENCE or TECK DECK is permanently installed.

For the continued terms of this WARRANTY to be effective, Heritage Vinyl Products must receive written notice from the original owner within 30 days from the date of real estate title transfer.

Failure to notify Heritage Vinyl Products of the transfer will relieve it of any further obligation under this WARRANTY.

In the event of transfer of the property and this WARRANTY as herein above provided, the warranty period shall extend for the life of the new owner or until any subsequent property ownership change.

C. Conditions Not Covered by this Warranty

This WARRANTY covers defects in material and/or manufacturing. It does not cover failure of, or damage to such products resulting from faulty or improper installation; settlement or failure of any structure on which the product(s) is installed; settlement or soil movement; misuse; intentional or negligent acts or damage; fire, wind, flood, hail, lightening or other acts of God; improper care or failure to provide reasonable and necessary repair or the product; normal and expected weathering of the surface*, mildew; exposure to harmful chemicals, vapors or acid rain and surface discoloration due to atmospheric pollution.

* NOTE: Normal weathering is defined as exposure to ultraviolet light and extremes of weather and atmosphere which will cause any colored surface to experience changes. Weathering and color-hold standards established in ASTM Specifications D 3679.

D. Special Limited Warranty for Commercial Applications

Heritage Vinyl Products fully warrants its materials for commercial use with the following exceptions: damage to the surface of TECK DECK due to use of heavy equipment; deterioration of the non-skid surface of TECK DECK due to high-volume traffic, heavy or continual exposure to corrosive and/or abrasive materials.

E. Obtaining Performance of this Warranty

If you feel that your HERITAGE FENCE or TECK DECK is not free from manufacturing defects or degradation as described in Section A, you must notify the manufacturer within thirty (30) days following the discovery of the damage or alleged defect.

Briefly state the nature of your complaint and submit (1) proof of installation date and (2) your Warranty Certificate Number.

F. Claims and Remedies

Important: All claims under this warranty must be reported to Heritage Vinyl Products within thirty (30) days of the date that the defect is first discovered or reasonably could have been discovered.

Heritage Vinyl Products must have a reasonable opportunity to inspect the product in question before repairs are begun. If the fencing or decking product is deemed to be defective, Heritage Vinyl Products will repair, or replace, at its option, the defective part or portion in accordance with the terms contained in Sections A and B.

Heritage Vinyl Products may direct and pay a company, dealer, contractor, applicator or distributor to perform any remedy under this WARRANTY on Heritage's behalf.

If this claim is made against a product that is no longer available, Heritage reserves the right to supply vinyl fencing and/or vinyl decking material of equivalent quality and value.

Heritage Vinyl Products makes no express warranties except as herein stated and shall not be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages with respect to its products and accessories covered by this WARRANTY, the extent of its liability and the owner's exclusive remedy being limited to repair or replacement as set forth herein.
